FAQ

19-25 October 2023. GA2023 begins with afternoon registration, dinner and opening General Session on Thursday evening, 19 October.  If you are attending the prayer day, it begins at 9am on the 19th. Check-out is Wednesday, 25 October.
The Netherlands. Information about the hotel where we will be hosting GA will be included in your registration confirmation email.
Please arrange your travel to arrive at Schiphol International Airport (AMS) in Amsterdam on Thursday, 19th of October (or Wednesday, 18th of October if you are attending the prayer day). You may schedule your departure on Wednesday, 25th of October. Transportation will be provided to and from our venue.

Registration prices vary, depending on age, date of registration, scholarships, and other factors. For a full list of prices, visit the registration page and look under "Registration Options.

GA 2023 lodging is shared-room occupancy and is included in your registration price. We will try to accommodate your 1st or 2nd preferred roommate choice, as indicated on your registration.
In addition to learning from various speakers during seminars and general sessions, prayer and worship together, our venue provides a great to relax with a wide sandy beach just 100 meters away. On the squash court and in the gym you can show off your sporty side. In the hotel you can relax in the sauna center and heated indoor pool. For optimal pampering use our Wellness Center. Children will enjoy themselves in the indoor playground 'Wally the Walrus'. In the hotel there are 8 bowling lanes equipped with spectacular light shows in the cool vibe of the 70s. In the bowling center you can enjoy snacks and drinks and also dance on the illuminated dance floor.
Whether you just want to sit and chat with someone who will listen to what is on your heart and mind, or need a more in-depth consultation with a Spiritual directors, pastoral care provider, or professional counselor, you can do so at General Assembly. Additionally, there will be several empty chairs set up throughout the venue near staff with signs that read, “I’m here to listen.” Whether you just want to sit and chat with someone who will listen to what is on your heart and mind, or need a more in-depth consultation with a member of the Care Team, you can do so. More information about available counselors and their specialties will be included in the GA App for registered guests.
YFCI Digital Field Team Member Jim Jose, with a team of volunteers, is hard at work to create an app that will help connect event attendees with each other, what is happening at the event and important conference resources. To learn more about the GA App, visit https://generalassembly.yfci.org/app/
We are excited to provide childcare at certain times during GA (specifically during both daily General Sessions and Training times). The children will be exploring the theme "Together" while participating in age appropriate activities, learning, and fun! Children ages 0-12 are welcome! More specific information will be available at the end of July/early August, 2023.
